• "Customer", "you", "your" refers to any person who contacts us, uses our website, or engages our services.
• "Services" refers to cash for cars, car removal, auto wrecking, and parts sales services provided by Ezy Auto Wrecker.
• "Vehicle" refers to any car, van, ute, truck, 4WD, or other motor vehicle.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

3. Our Services

Ezy Auto Wrecker provides the following services across Melbourne and surrounding areas:

• Cash for cars — purchasing vehicles in any condition
• Free car removal and towing
• Auto wrecking and vehicle dismantling
• Used and recycled auto parts sales

All quotes provided are estimates only and subject to inspection of the vehicle. We reserve the right to revise or withdraw a quote if the vehicle's condition differs materially from the description provided.

4. Selling Your Vehicle to Us

By agreeing to sell your vehicle to Ezy Auto Wrecker, you confirm that:

• You are the legal owner of the vehicle, or have the authority to sell it on behalf of the owner.
• The vehicle is free of any finance, encumbrances, or third-party claims, unless otherwise disclosed to us in writing prior to the sale.
• All information provided about the vehicle (make, model, year, condition, registration status) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You will provide all relevant documentation required to transfer ownership, including the vehicle's Certificate of Registration or equivalent.

Once a sale is agreed and the vehicle is collected, the transaction is considered final. We are not responsible for any items left in the vehicle at the time of collection.

5. Payment

Payment for vehicles is made at the time of collection, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment will only be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or cheque. Cash payments will not be accepted. In accordance with Victorian scrap metal laws, cash payments for scrap vehicles or scrap metal are prohibited. Under the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989 (Vic) and associated regulations, payment for scrap metal transactions must be made by non-transferable cheque or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

We reserve the right to adjust the agreed purchase price if the vehicle's condition at the time of collection differs materially from the description provided.

Where a vehicle is subject to ownership verification, encumbrance checks, fraud investigations, identity verification, or any other compliance requirements, payment may be withheld until all checks have been completed and the vehicle has been cleared.

6. Transfer of Ownership

If required, we will notify VicRoads of the change of ownership after collecting your vehicle. You must ensure that the vehicle is registered in your name at the time of sale, or that you have the legal authority to sell and transfer ownership. Please note that vehicles purchased for scrap or dismantling do not require a VicRoads ownership transfer. In many cases, you may be eligible to apply to VicRoads for a refund of any remaining registration. Ezy Auto Wrecker can provide a purchase receipt to assist with your application. We are not responsible for any fines, tolls, infringements, registration obligations, or other liabilities incurred before the date and time the vehicle is collected and the sale is completed.

7. Parts Sales

All used and recycled parts are sold as-is. While we make reasonable efforts to describe the condition of parts accurately, we do not provide warranties on used parts beyond any statutory guarantees that apply under Australian Consumer Law.

It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that a part is suitable for their vehicle before purchase. We recommend consulting a qualified mechanic if you are unsure.

8. Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract content from the website
• Submit false or misleading information through any forms on the website

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Ezy Auto Wrecker or its licensors and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ezy Auto Wrecker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by you for those services.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
